Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) are the raw material used to produce cashew kernels enjoyed by approximately 4 billion people worldwide. The majority of these nuts are processed in Vietnam and India, while the raw material is predominantly produced in regions of West Africa and Asia. Established in 2004, Inter Agro Group embarked on its first venture in the field of trading and procuring raw cashew nuts. After 20 years, we have proudly expanded our operations to a vast number of countries in West Africa, trading approximately 110,000 tons of RCN from all our origin in the region.

Groundnuts, also known as peanuts, are a significant agricultural commodity globally. Consumed widely as snacks, peanuts also serve as vital ingredients in various food products, oils, and animal feeds due to their high protein, vitamin, and mineral content, making them an important part of diets worldwide. Groundnuts are typically produced in countries like the USA, India, China, and in West African regions such as Nigeria and Senegal.

Recognizing this opportunity, Inter Agro Group established its first groundnut processing plant in The Gambia in 2003. Currently, the company is mainly actively engaged in trading activities in Senegal and other west african origins, further solidifying its presence in the groundnut industry.

Rice is the most widely consumed staple food, nourishing more than half of the world's population. It serves as a fundamental component of diets across many cultures, providing essential nutrients and numerous health benefits. Rice is nutrient-rich, cardioprotective, and an excellent source of energy. Major rice-producing countries, utilising advanced irrigation processes, include China and India.

Sesame seeds are renowned for their delicacy in tahini sauce and as the finishing touch on burger buns worldwide. Like many natural commodities, sesame seeds offer significant health benefits, being rich in vitamins and nutrients. They are also potent antioxidants, known to combat harmful cancer cells.

Recognizing the critical role sugar plays in the global food economy, Inter Agro Group has made strategic investments in the sugar industry. By conducting trading operations in key origins such as Tanzania and India,Inter Agro Group has positioned itself as an active participant in the market. This involvement supports a steady supply of high-quality sugar, contributing to both local economies and global demand.

Cashew kernels are the final product of raw cashew nuts, processed through various techniques. Known for their delightful taste and numerous health benefits, cashew kernels are rich in calcium, a great source of protein, and packed with nutrients.These attributes contribute to several health benefits, including cholesterol inhibition, enhanced bone health, and blood sugar control.

The major cashew processing countries are Vietnam and India, producing approximately 300,000 and 800,000 metric tonnes of cashews, respectively. Expanding its footprint in the cashew industry, Inter Agro Group established its first cashew processing plant in Tamil Nadu, India, in 2016. Currently, Inter Agro Group operates six cashew processing factories.

Consumed in a variety of ways through numerous by-products, Soyabeans are commonly processed using two methods: fermentation and non-fermentation. Some of the many fermented products include Soya Sauce, tempeh, and miso. while well-known unfermented products include tofu, Soya milk, and sprouts

Recognizing the crucial role Soyabean plays in the global food economy due to the high demand for their by-products, InterAgro Group initiated its operations in trading Soyabeans, demonstrating a strong commitment to the agricultural community.

Cocoa beans are renowned worldwide as the primary ingredient in chocolates and various sweet delicacies enjoyed as desserts. Additionally, cocoa beans are utilised in the production of by-products like cocoa butter and a wide range of cosmetic items.

Inter Agro Group initially entered the cocoa industry in Côte d'Ivoire and has since expanded its trading operations into other west-african countries. Furthermore, the group actively participates in cocoa tendering systems in Tanzania, demonstrating its commitment and presence in the global cocoa market.

Arabica Coffee – Kivu’s Crown Jewel

in the fertile volcanic soils and high altitudes of the *Kivu region, Congo’s Arabica coffee is celebrated worldwide for its **bright acidity, fruity berry notes, subtle spice, and smooth chocolate finish. Specialty cooperatives such as SOPACDI cultivate Bourbon and other Arabica varieties at elevations up to 2,000 meters, producing beans that consistently score above 85 points on international cupping standards. This unique terroir gives Congo Arabica a **complex, wine-like profile with tropical fruit, honey, and floral aromas*, making it a sought-after choice for premium roasters and discerning coffee lovers.

Robusta Coffee – Congo’s Native Strength

Robusta, scientifically known as Coffea canephora, has deep roots in Congo, where it was first cultivated in the late 19th century along the Lomani River. Congo’s Robusta thrives in the humid lowlands of *Orientale Province and northeastern regions, producing beans with a **bold, full-bodied flavor, earthy undertones, and a distinctive chocolate bitterness. With naturally higher caffeine content and resilience to harsh climates, Congo Robusta is ideal for **espresso blends, instant coffee, and dark roasts*, offering strength and consistency that complements Arabica’s delicate sweetness.
