Leadership

Shaping Tomorrow’s Trade.

Founded in 1999, Interagroengent began its journey with the establishment of Inter Agro & Engineering Enterprises Limited in The Gambia. Recognized as a qualified engineering company by the World Food Programme (WFP), UNICEF, Action Aid, and other international organizations, we pioneered rural development projects by introducing peanut butter machines, millet milling machines, rice milling machines, and India Mark II hand pumps across rural communities in The Gambia, Senegal, and Guinea Bissau.

This early work connected us directly with farmers of groundnuts and raw cashew nuts, helping them bring their produce from remote villages to cities such as Banjul, Ziguinchor, and Bissau. Initially, we supported farmers in supplying exporters until 2003, before entering the export trade ourselves in 2004.

From modest beginnings of 175 MT of raw cashew nuts per year in 2004, our relentless dedication and strategic growth have propelled us to an impressive 175,000 MT in 2025 — a testament to our 21 years journey of excellence.
